Not for luxury seekers
The staff was super friendly and very attentive, like when they gave me a handy map of the area and advised me on what to see, I really appreciated that. The free transport to the port was a nice touch, didn't expect that!
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The service was great and the pool was amazing. We had king room to ourselves with a bathroom and a shower plus spectacular views. Great and stunning location as it was away from hustle and bustle.

What a wonderful place. Clean, well equipped, comfortable, a great location overlooking the sea with a lovely patio and small pool yet a five minute walk into Fira central. I watched the sunrise overlooking the Aegean Sea from my bed. Katerina, her sister Andrea and husband could not have been more welcoming. They met us at the airport and transported us to the bus station, no charge. They gave us lots of great advice. A wonderful small family inn.
This hotel is on a busy street that can be noisy but at night it becomes much quieter. The view is not the dramatic cliffs of the postcards but of the gentle slope in the east. But at a fraction of the rates. For the price and location, it is a great place for budget travellers.

I really enjoyed the fine view from the Double Room with Sea View. It had a large terrace perfect for soaking in the amazing scenery. The swimming pool provided a refreshing escape after a long day of exploring. Katerina, the hostess, impressed me with her attentiveness, organizing two fantastic local tours and suggesting places to visit. She even coordinated our transfers to and from the port. The noise from the busy road outside was a bit disruptive at times, especially during the night. The air conditioning in the room could use an upgrade. It struggled to keep up with the heat. A couple of meals at her restaurant were good quality and reasonably priced.

Marvellous and lovely location in the pretty area, short walk to the center as well as the harbour 20km away. TV set with satellite channels, climate control and a fridge in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed...

thanks everyone for a decent stay for 1 night. there was a lot of food for breakfast, including coffee, toast, and yoghourt. marvellous location, we were a super close walk to centre of the city. found a place called katrin restaurant, set around 4-6 minutes away by foot from the hotel, ate there a few times.
Well, the area was really loud overall.

Possibly best customer service ever received from a hotel. It is very important to the owner that you enjoy your stay in Thira, and she will do everything to make sure! Really friendly and extremely helpful.
No fridge in rooms, no hair dryer, and the shower is not attached to the wall.

Villa Murano is in an excellent location and provides an ideal base for a visit to Fira and Santorini at a reasonable price. It is 10 minutes walk to the centre of Fira and handy for the bus to Oia. Katerina, the manager could not be more helpful and her advice on where to eat was very good. Her love of the island and her eagerness that we enjoyed our visit was very obvious. Although the studio we booked was small it had great character and beautiful views over the island to the sea. It was spotlessly clean and had all the necessary facilities.

Santorini vibes 🌅
Ja, so we booked super last minute, and wow, what a surprise! The peeps running the place were just amazing, giving me tips about where to go. The room had this fine view and was super clean. Plus, a short walk to Fira? Lekker!
But man, the noise from the street did get a bit much at times, especially at night.

The staff with katerina and your housband is very excellent e very nice about every front!! Nice the balcons with see view and the travel included from and back to airport is important. the breackfast is not included but every day if you want coffe or tea is not a problem. The hotel Is not much expensive and the service is correct match to money required
The position near trafficate street and the rooms is very little. Privacy is not so good, the swimming pool is to border the street and every people that pass in the street to look inside.
